2007 Hospitality Maps: Maps are printed annually in March, just prior to the quilt show. Maps are taken to all hotels/motels and Whitehaven Welcome Center. Additional maps are available at the CVB office, located at 128 Broadway for your place of business. A PDF version of the map is available here.

Spirit of Hospitality: Since June 2004, member businesses have the opportunity to recognize employees who symbolize the welcoming spirit of the organization. At each dinner meeting, employees who have previously been nominated are recognized. A PDF form is now available for you to download to nominate outstanding employees.

I-24 Landscape Project: The PHA has been doing some exploratory work behind the scenes on the I-24 landscape project. Recently President Bob Hoppmann has been meeting with groups, the City government, a landscape artist, the highway department and individuals planning the landscape of the interstate exchange at Exit 4 off I-24. Mayor Paxton has given commitment to the project stating the City will work with the PHA to landscape existing right-of-ways to improve the visual character of developed areas. Kathy Keeney, City Horticulturist, has been chosen to help guide our project to fruition.

To get involved in this community wide endeavor, contact Bob at The Pasta House Company, 575-1997 or Kathy Keeney at the City office, 444-1339.

Meet & Greet at Airport: On Monday mornings, the incoming flight is greeted by a member of the Association with some kind of snack or treat.  It is a way to say Welcome to Paducah. If you are interested in participating, please call Bob Hoppmann at 575-1997 to sign up.

PHA Scholarship: The Charles Armstrong Hospitality Scholarship Award is presented annually to a student who is pursuing a higher education in the hospitality industry, in the culinary arts program or a computer related field in the hospitality industry. Mrs. Beckner is a full time student attending WKCTC in the culinary arts department.

(Broadened to include anyone who is pursuing computer related fields for hospitality industry, as well as originally the culinary arts.)
